    hmm, no, i've only had that error from 404.city, jix.im, and suchat.org, but mostly 404.city

    xa0.uk, do you have bidi enabled for s2s? If so, you're seeing an ejabberd bug

    Unfortunately they forgot to fix it in time for the latest release, but it should be fixed in the next one

    Until then, s2s between ejabberd and any other XMPP server that supports bidi is broken (with this error message)

    Unfortunately it was enabled by default in ejabberd and many of the people who upgraded did not notice
