Alright two projects are willing to fund their own stickers for omniopencon, and I realised I had less stickers left after the last few FOSS meetups than I thought. Current stock is: * 20x conversations * 40x XMPP logo * 36x snikket * 3x OMEMO * 8x Openfire These I am bringing to EuroBSDCon first, which is the following weekend from today. I will go around a few more of the projects see who would like their stickers at Omniopencon, and whether they want the spares back or distributed at assorted confs now. This keeps down the amount I need to cover, which is not a lot.

Then hopefully XSF can cover some of the cost for non-project stickers (afaik just the XMPP logo stickers)? ✏

Polarian, I appreciate your attempts, but in less gentle words than how I tried to help you before: Dude, TMI! Just give me a quote for the stuff (non-project specific) that you would like to get reproduced! We'll have a quick once over, approve it, and will reimburse you.

I feel that you're making it harder for yourself to actually get the stuff that you want. You're being super precise, thoughtful, accountable - which obviously isn't _bad_ - but we can make this so much more efficient for you.

just get some quotes from a webshop, mail it to me (or Daniel) in a format that says 'this sticker in this quantity for this amount' - we'll go over it real quick, and let you know if you can go ahead and order.

in my book, anything under 50 stickers basically means "we are out of stickers"

Apart from that I need to know the size and have the asset for the XMPP sticker (I believe its on the wiki somewhere?). When I have both of these, I can send the quote, although I am really not sure how many stickers to even have, but yeah they won't go to waste, so if you give me a few quantities to quote for, I can relay numerous to see which is the best deal for balancing cost vs quantity? ↺

the XMPP logo die-cut sticker dimensions are indeed on that wiki page I just linked (it's 50x50mm iirc). If you order them with StickerMule (again, see wiki), they are most likely to look exactly like earlier production runs (which were also ordered there). And indeed, larger quantities make financial sense. I think I typically go with 500 or 1000 - but prices may have changed over time, unsure.

Polarian, if you have a shipping address, then StickerMule can ship it there, probably. I typically have them delivered to the hotel where I plan to stay, and quickly send off an email to reception asking me to hold the envelope.

You can set up different shipping addresses in StickerMule. One of my standard ones is <my name>, guest at <hotel name>

If there are locals that you know of, that's even easier.

seen as the XSF is paying for it, its really up to you, the rest we are printing in RO, or thats the plan. A volunteer (a close friend of mine) is holding the materials until the conf.

For the record, I use stickerapp instead of stickermule due to the political record of the latter, and am quite satisfied with the service, but I am not sure how the prices compare

I'm not at all married to StickerMule, but for reordering _the same_ stickers, I'd like to prefer minimizing the chance of accidental differences between batches. But meh.
