  3. stpeter

last week the Chair said he would be offline this week (at monktoberfest in Portland, Maine, I believe)

  4. Florian

    yeah, my bad :)

  5. stpeter

I said I would be offline, but in fact I'm online this week and offline next week instead

  6. stpeter

    http://ditchnet.org/xmlrpc/ has <base64>

  7. stpeter

    oops, wrong window :)

  8. Tobias

stpeter, have you heard of anyone who implemented channel binding (SCRAM-*-PLUS) in java?

  9. stpeter

    in XMPP, or more generally?

  10. stpeter

Alexey probably knows better than I do

  11. Tobias

generally..yeah..need to add him to my roster sometime :)

  12. Tobias

that'll probably also decrease the cyrus-sasl on OS X debugging RTT

  13. stpeter

    :)

  14. stpeter

    http://download.oracle.com/javase/1,5,0/docs/api/javax/security/sasl/package-summary.html might be of interest

  15. Tobias

stpeter, yeah..will check back with alexey..just browsed the android docu a bit and their javax.crypto stuff doesn't seem to provide an API to the relevant info needed for channel binding. thus i wondered if it'd have done for basic java yet

  16. Tobias

i mean it's mostly an API issue

  17. stpeter

    sure

  18. stpeter

those Oracle documents I found look suspiciously old

  19. stpeter

like, 2004, before anyone dreamed of channel binding :)

  20. Tobias

yeah..i also changed the 1,5,0 to 1,6,0 and the new url the 6 to 7

  21. Tobias

    no obvious changes :D

  22. stpeter

    ouch

  23. Tobias

i mean there are at least 5 years between java 5 and java 7

  24. stpeter

    :)

  25. stpeter

sigh, still three Internet-Drafts to review today, and I think I need to read http://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-ietf-lisp-15 and http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc4984 to understand them...

  26. Tobias

    LISP? :)

  27. stpeter

    yeah

  28. stpeter

    not the programming language :)

  29. Tobias

    not that lisp

  30. Tobias

    i see

  31. stpeter

    the Locator/ID Separation Protocol

  32. stpeter
