Before anyone books the Aloft (which I'll book too if that's where we go) I wonder if it's worth thinking about whether it's the best hotel or not.

wed-on-thu is pretty expensive, the other dates are better value

It's not particularly convenient for travel into Brussels, compared to being in the middle, it's not particularly convenient for getting to Diegem, and I'm not sure it's much more useful for FOSDEM than the centre.

And it's not particularly convenient for certain eateries :)

Downtown is (much) harder to park our van, though
