Did someone happen to attend or see a talk by Arun Gupta on creating a Amazon Lex chat bot?

I've not seen it, but it might be of interest to the XSF. I believe he's looking for a jabber hookup in his framework.

I wonder if we can/should facilitate: I think it might be good for our exposure, and is surely won't hurt to get in contact over this with a tech lead like Arun.

jonasw, the framework is amazon lex, and I guess it’s a tool suite for creating "intelligent" chatbots

and a jabber hookup probably means "can I plug it into xmpp and it works"

Arun Gupta is a pretty well known figure in the Java world.

in other cases you may accidentally ban everyone from accessing the wiki, which is sad :p
