  1. Kev

I'd love to see next year's suites have both bookmarks and avatar cross-publishing specs in them, but this year doesn't seem viable for either, given one doesn't exist, and one was published the other day so we can't claim much stability.

  2. Kev

And I think the suites are worthwhile and wouldn't like to see them dropped, and I appreciate that it's frustrating and I'm sorry about that.

Ge0rG, Hey, I'm on vacation for the next X days, so no progress of the ProtoXEP from my side in that time. I already started with a clean and XEP-compliant ejabberd implementation. I'll publish it when I'm back. Just so you know

  4. edhelas

I was thinking about Jingle with multiparty

  5. edhelas

would it be interesting to have a protocol where you basically call a MUC (or MIX) in 1to1 and it return you a "mixed" stream

  6. Zash

Aren't like two separate XEPs for that already?

  7. Link Mauve

COIN and COLIBRI, which actually work together.

  8. edhelas

    ok, my bad

  9. edhelas

ok looks like what I'm looking for is Jitsi Video Bridge

  10. edhelas

is there people from Jitsi in this channel ?

  11. vanitasvitae

jonasw: I implemented XEP-0384 (Message Markup) for Smack, but I have some questions.

  12. vanitasvitae

There is a rule that sais that spans must not overlap. If I want to have text for example emphasizes and deleted, do have to put both elements for emphasized and deleted into one span?

  13. vanitasvitae

If yes, then it would be nice if the example would reflect that.

  14. vanitasvitae

Also I'm not sure what is considered a "block level markup element". Is the list one?

  15. vanitasvitae

If so, it is not clear, what the overlap/contain rule set for lists is.

  16. vanitasvitae

Also all examples use double quotes for attributes instead of single quotes (not sure if thats allowed, but I saw usage of single quotes in other places.

  17. vanitasvitae

    Whoops, I meant XEP-0394

  18. Ge0rG

marc: thanks for the feedback. Wait for the council feedback before implementing, I'd say.
