    Is there an XMPP bridge into mattermost?

    I don't know. TBH I was invited into a freenode channel for another IM system that turned out to be bridged into mattermost

    so before I bridge my XMPP to IRC to mattermost, I hoped to be able to skip a level of indirection

    I thought it was among all the non-federated http api things

    I'd be very surprised if that's xmpp

    It might be non-federated and have a web ui, but it definitely started as xmpp and its cliebts were speaking it
