I wonder how email providers are dealing with it

  2. Andrew Nenakhov

I guess they just write some new clever terms of service and don't do anything they don't usually do

  4. jonasw

    that’s a privacy-friendly german email service

  5. Andrew Nenakhov

Glanced not too thoroughly, didn't see mentioning any sent email that user can delete

  6. Andrew Nenakhov

From other servers. Maybe they presume this to be stupid.

  7. muppeth

I think gdpr specifies that deletion can be done only if its possible. Obviously email sent cant be deleted. Gdpr seems to be logical about this stuff. So pretty much all you need to do is present that its not possible to delete

  8. muppeth

I think matrix went the email route regarding deletion

  9. muppeth

Just like you cant request post office to destroy all mails you ever sent.

  10. Ge0rG

Matrix went the "OMG you'll be blocked if you don't consent" route

  14. Ge0rG

Maybe they are evil data collectors?

How does the right to be forgotten work with their distributed blockchain graph database? :)

  16. Ge0rG
