daniel, xmpp.org this is not an ordinary site about XMPP. The central site about XMPP. This list is copied to other sites and distributed as a recommendation. New users think that the missing servers in the list are bad. This list contains 5 servers selected based on biased criteria. It has 2 small servers(yax.im and jwchat). 1 without closed registration(jabber.at). 2 large, but without registration through clients and problems with XEP support (no http upload or omemo/xmpp.jp and jabber.ru). This list does not help the beginner. This list is misleading that these are good servers, and the rest are worse. A new server can not be added to this list, because they say "the place is occupied". I do not want to offend anyone and say that this servers is worse. I want there should not be a biased list or it should be freedom to add XMPP servers

If an unbiased list can not be exist, then there should not be a list. I think this is xmpp.org not a personal blog. In XMPP clients, you can find a criterion. In the case of servers, this is ambiguous. Popularity can be faked and does not say that the server is good. The remaining criteria require large computational resources and a lot of new code (XEP, sertificat verfy, uptime).

“20:19:00 Ge0rG> If nobody cries loudly, right now, I'll delete both those pages.”, I think it should be made a redirection to the more well-known page.

Breaking URLs is always a bad thing.

And if it has such a high ranking, it must be valuable to redirect it to https://xmpp.org/getting-started/

My suggestion would be to do the 301 directly in the nginx configuration.
