okay, this is something that works better on xmpp.org than on jabber.org

but generally, offline messaging is a corner case.

you pin a few tabs in Firefox/Chrome and you have the same result

for XMPP I guess that they are using an existing service

But GA also implies that it used to be Great in the past.
