also, even if I ask Gajim devs, Daniel still doesn't want to implement this

and we decided with him to finally go MIX road

the updated MIX implementation will go in the next ejabberd release btw

and I stopped any attempts to improve MUC, I would rather focus on MIX

it’s the only thing which prevents me from having to maintain an ejabberd locally or heavily modify my end-to-end test framework.

zinid, does it have muc compatibility? that is, could it be enabled for an existing muc room and have mix and muc users co-exist ?

moparisthebest, the minimum compatibility (only basic MUC functionality) is planned

which means we're going to deprecate mod_muc in favor of mod_mix_muc

jonas’, I know, you said that already, but I personally don't have neither time nor motivation to maintain the docker image, and ProcessOne is quite limited in human resources currently as well :/
