Zash, It's "Æther", and usually transcribed as "Ether" in English, hence "Ethernet" - so we hopefully do send the messages into the ether.

Did I ever mention that the prosody pinger module should reset s2s on a timeout?

It should start by actually checking for that

The good news is that we have the pieces we need for doing that nicely now. The bad news for you is that it's in trunk.

and since we lost the ability to have incremental builds when everything was dockerized, running it in the docker setup is not feasible

I've got an incomplete thing based on conversion to markdown and comparing that

when I’m done wtih th eserver migration, I might set up something on my own infrastructure which does stuff like that

as a proof-of-concept type of thing

I'm having trouble to connect to XMPP servers from my mcabber client

Anyone willing to help?

For instance, I tried to connect to mcabber@conf.lilotux.net an I get an error message saying (guess what) "Error while trying to connect"

I have created a JID and added it to mcabberrc file along with the password for now and added this server also to mcabberrc file

Can't figure out what might be wrong

Can everybody add his availability for the XMPP sprint in The Haque before Sundat? This way we can make for sure that there is enough beer and things like that.
