Regarding nyco's chase about the poll this morning: given he said the poll is for people who intend using the badges, if people aren't filling it in does that suggest they're not intending using the badges? (That's why I've not, certainly)

"Please help choose the XMPP Compliance Badges you will use!" says to me that if you're not going to use them, the poll isn't for you.

I think that might be unintentional confusing wording.

Basically: board would like member input on what set to pick.

would member input in the order of "only two people are interested, it’s not worth to invest in this" be valuable?

In that case, folks who don’t want to use them should also take the poll.

I think asking people to fill out the whole poll in order to indicate a lack of interest is probably overly optimistic.

It's also confusing - it asks to pick from three designs, but the first link has two designs there, the second only one, but the third has three designs. Which is a total of 6 designs, AFAICS.

The poll also lacks context for what they're intended to be used for. Tedd's are clearly the most consistent for shoving on github READMEs, while the OSD ones look most sensible for including on a website (depending on the style of the site).

So we need three sets of badges in the end.

I basically didn't go past the first page of the form, as I wasn't particularly interested in picking any of the 3 options.
