FWIW, conference.jabber.org still seems to list invalid MUCs, but I don’t have the resources at the moment to figure out which those are

own implementation based on the python stringprep module + reading RFC 6122
ralphm
Interesting to see if there are differences.
jonas’
c.j.o is a nice unintended test-case for JID validaiton

but with precis
ralphm
I'd be interested in having at least one example deemed to be an illegal JID.
jonas’
ralphm, I will post it
jonas’
once I get home and have time to investigate the issue

It appears they are either Violation of BIDI Requirement 2 or 3. Most 3.

_any_ issues? 😉
ralphm
I guess you need it.

How does voting work? Where can I contact the bot as a member? Can't find anything on the wiki about it.
pdurbinhas left
Alex
COM8: you just send a message to the bot xmpp://memberbot@xmpp.org and follow the instructions. If you have not voted before your Jid may not be on the whitelist. In this case let me know and I will handle for you
Alex
COM8: but will be away for the next hour, walking my dogs
COM8
Alex: OK no problem will come back to you. Thanks
ralphm
no slashes
COM8
Alex: When you are back could you please whitelist: com8@xmpp.uwpx.org

COM8: you should remove the xmpp from your jabber domain. Since the invention of SRV records it's not needed any more, and you can have email = JID
