moparisthebest, I think you need first 5% of the membership to "ask" for the voting

I don't see anything we are doing or could possibly do to maintain that guarantee so it makes sense to remove

Might as well guarantee anyone implementing a xep gets rewarded with milk and cookies

perfection is the enemy of good

objectively, we can try to avoid encumbaranced(?!) specifications more realistically than we can get everyone milk and cookies

even though that’d be awesome too

I'm sure that getting milk and cookies for an author whose XEP makes it into draft is well within the XSF capabilities

And probably even within the scope
