the only thing annoying about those dates is that everyone complains about them

please, if you have strong opinions about it, raise them on a list which can pin down what the date is supposed to mean

since this would be XEP-0001 territory, that is Board

The problem is: it is the modification commit date and not the publication/announcement date, the commit of the editor is missing.
