  4. rion

    What happened to Neustradamus?

  5. rion

I feel uncomfortable w/o requests like "Psi draws a smileys one pixel below than expected. You must fix it immediately!"

  6. eta

talking about Psi, that client had the interesting behaviour of crashing my entire desktop environment upon start

  7. rion

eta: sounds cool. I can only suggest to change the desktop environment :) But well if it's KDE plasma it can crash randomly anywhere depending on the phase of the moon.

  8. eta

    it's GNOME

  9. eta

    yeah, definitely not Psi's fault

  10. eta

    was just entertaining

  11. Ge0rG

rion: did you renew the Psi listing on xmpp.org yet?

  12. rion

Ge0rG: not yet. why is it removed all the time?

  13. rion

    it's weird

  14. jonas’

    rion, https://xmpp.org/2017/03/new-xmpp-software-listing-rules/

  15. jonas’

    > To achieve this, the XSF Board has decided that all implementations have to reapply once per year, to ensure that they are still actively maintained and that the listed info is accurate.

  16. rion

I see. Well not that important. I'll definitely make a PR prior the next release

  17. Ge0rG

    rion: it's because of pidgin.

  18. wurstsalat

rion: does psi have a doap file yet?

  19. rion

wurstsalat: nope. does it need one?

  20. Zash

    It would enable Nice Things™

  21. lovetox

and where can the nice things be seen?

  22. Zash

    Ask Link Mauve

  23. Link Mauve

Hi, tomorrow please, I have a masters thesis to finish before tonight.

  24. pep.

DOAP is blocked on pelican atm really :/

  25. wurstsalat

pep.: I did a PR to move the pelican ;)

  26. wurstsalat

    https://github.com/pulkomandy/xmpp-doap one example

  27. Zash

    or https://prosody.im/files/prosody-doap.html

  28. Zash

rion: Fancy data things like listing implementation status on XEPs, automagic compliance suite listings and such

  29. rion

may be useful probably for some automatics...

  30. rion

    otherwise markdown does better job

  31. moparisthebest

excuse me sir this is an XML channel

  32. Zash

rion: yeah, fancy automatic multi-project things that benefit from a common data format :)

  33. wurstsalat

Zash: nice, I didn't know about that page

  34. Zash

wurstsalat: it's not automatic tho, mosly just for show, but we do have the doap xml in the repo
