    That's not really what '333 is for tho, but rather telling everyone else about how far you read. And it's commonly only used in private chats.

    oh if it's in private mucs then yeah i've seen "$x has read up to here"

    i understood it to mean that cilent 1 has read this far and then client 2 can pick up from there
