I'm referring to it a lot at the moment, and it annoys me that I have to tick 'Deferred' to be able to Ctrl+F it, so I consider that a good reason to advance it

it's also mandatory for Core A/V Compliance

I think there is some unaddressed feedback

IIRC at least two implementations agree and diverge in behavior

Conversations doesn't need it but I can foresee a situation where we might need it.

Wouldn't it suffice to have a carbon of the hangup from the sender or the accept / reject from the recipient?

My search was actually regarding the question of "xmpp" or "jabber" out of interest

Ah. It would be interesting to see the popularity in the amount of clicks/searches/whatever.
