  2. Zash

    Can we help you?

  3. Ge0rG

So I got pinged on a missing myth on our homepage, and now I ended up in the rabbit hole of blockquote CSS and missing raw HTML :(

  4. Zash

    RIP

  5. emus

    Ge0rG: can you further explain?

  6. Ge0rG

    emus: I can further PR

  7. Zash

    Rabbit Ingress Pilgrim

  8. emus

    ok also fine

  9. jonas’

    rabbitmq?

  10. wurstsalat

Ge0rG, if it's something which can be done via Shortcodes, I'm happy to help with that

  11. Ge0rG

    wurstsalat: nah

  12. wurstsalat

but I'm happy about PRs as well :)

  13. Ge0rG

    emus, wurstsalat: https://github.com/xsf/xmpp.org/pulls/ge0rg

  14. wurstsalat

    Ge0rG, thanks!

  15. emus

    Yes, many thanks

  16. Ge0rG

Why do I get assigned the PRs that I submitted?

  17. Sam

That always seems wrong and confusing to me too

  18. harry837374884

    Jsjjsjs

  19. mjk

    > Jdhd > Jsjjsjs It's trying to communicate!

  20. moparisthebest

  23. jonas’

    someone said cat?

  24. emus

Ge0rG, Sam: Sorry guys. I confuse it with issues often but like to see this on the right. But I agree it is double information. But I wonder why its there anyway

  25. MattJ

Assignment is for people who need to take action on an issue. Usually that's not the submitter. It's not required to use it.

  26. edhelas

simple question, can we agree that the XEP-0308: Last Message Correction is not only about correcting the last message ?

  27. Zash

    No

  28. Zash

It's right there, in the title, "last"

  29. edhelas

    > While it is possible to use this protocol to correct messages older than the most recent received from a full JID, such use is out of scope for this document and support for this SHOULD NOT be assumed without further negotiation.

  30. edhelas

    indeed

  31. MattJ

So the next question is: what needs to happen before we can make this "arbitrary message correction"

  32. MattJ

The problem is, I don't think people expect that their contacts can go back and rewrite history whenever they feel like it

  33. Zash

Another way to ask that is; Why not?

  34. Ge0rG

One is too few, all is too many. So what is a sane limit? 10 messages? 5 minutes?

  35. Ge0rG

Negotiation doesn't make sense in the age of Carbons and MAM

  36. Zash

    Sadly

  37. Zash

    Something server-enforced?
