Re: 0277 examples, the double escaping of text seems wrong. E.g.: ``` <title type='xhtml'> <div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <p>hanging out at the <strong>Caf&amp;#233; Napolitano</strong></p> </div> </title> ``` would be rendered as: > hanging out at the Caf&#233; Napolitano Same with type='text' nodes, their text is escaped as if it's type='html' (<https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/html/rfc4287#section-3.1.1.2>).

Question about OMEMO: - It is possible to send encrypted message to myselft or not? - In a protected MUC Room with the last user, for example me, encrypted messages must to work?

  4. mathieui

Neustradamus: no, and I don't understand the second

  5. rion

I guess he means a MUC with just one user. Where a message to such room will be encrypted

  6. moparisthebest

How can it comeback if it never left

  7. rion

Wrt sending something encrypted to a self-contact. I believe it makes sense. For example to use MAM as encrypted notes storage.

    > Question about OMEMO: > - It is possible to send encrypted message to myselft or not? yes, i do it > - In a protected MUC Room with the last user, for example me, encrypted messages must to work? only if all parties have accepted your OMEMO fp

  9. moparisthebest

OMEMO messages to self works fine on conversations at least

  10. Daniel

To other devices of yourself yes. That's being done implicitly the entire time. That's how message carbons work

  11. Daniel

To your own device; no, maybe, why would you

  12. mathieui

Oh yes, to other devices it works, my bad

  13. Neustradamus

    Thanks for your replies :)

    > And if you have only one connected device? its the same ...u have to be in your roster

  15. Neustradamus

Daniel: yes, the question is about the same account on the same device without other connected devices. And in a protected muc room which has been worked without problem with several people and if the last user, example me, if I send a "good bye", it must work or not?

  16. TheCoffeMaker

ohhh i dont use psi, only conversations and gajim

  17. TheCoffeMaker

sorry ... was meant to be a PM
