@board: I saw a Froscon post in jdev. Do we want to be there? I would say yes

  2. nuron

Hi, i wonder that the newsletter was put to my junk folder by my rspamd. Here are some more details, maybe someone is able to fix it?

  6. nuron

This are the details of the april newsletter 🙂

  7. moparisthebest

    It's sending from protonmail ?

  8. MattJ

From protonmail via newsletter@xmpp.org (mailman). DKIM is basically expected to fail, as I understand it.

  9. MattJ

    (with this approach)

  10. mdosch

nuron: You can teach your rspamd which mails are no spam.

  11. nuron

Sure mdosch but this would only effect my single rspamd, not all the other spam filters out there 🙂

  12. mdosch

Mine didn't put it in Spam. 🙂

  13. nuron

    But dkim failed as well?

  14. nuron

which score did the mail reached?

  15. mdosch

    Yes > ARC-Authentication-Results: i=1; mail.mdosch.de; dkim=fail ("body hash did not verify") header.d=protonmail.com header.s=protonmail2 header.b=eTxAp8On; spf=pass (mail.mdosch.de: domain of newsletter-bounces@xmpp.org designates 208.68.163.215 as permitted sender) smtp.mailfrom=newsletter-bounces@xmpp.org > Authentication-Results: mail.mdosch.de; dkim=fail ("body hash did not verify") header.d=protonmail.com header.s=protonmail2 header.b=eTxAp8On; dmarc=fail reason="SPF not aligned (strict)" header.from=protonmail.com (policy=quarantine); spf=pass (mail.mdosch.de: domain of newsletter-bounces@xmpp.org designates 208.68.163.215 as permitted sender) smtp.mailfrom=newsletter-bounces@xmpp.org > X-Spamd-Bar: /

  16. Zash

DKIM and mailing lists don't mix

  17. nuron

    What about dmarc?

  18. Holger

    > DKIM and mailing lists don't mix The list basically just needs to stop messing with the subject, no?

  19. Zash

    And with the body

  20. Zash

i.e. it needs to stop adding the footer

  21. Zash

    OR strip existing DKIM headers

  22. Zash

    optionally adding its own

  23. Holger

    Yeah.

  24. emus

Thanks, yes what zash & mattj said above reminds me of the discussion the last time

  25. Maranda

    > <Holger> > DKIM and mailing lists don't mix > > The list basically just needs to stop messing with the subject, no? With whatever field that's provided for signing actually

  26. Maranda

You can choose what to include into the signature
