Good news for all those who defend human rights in general, namely the right to privacy. All metadada collection is strictly prohibited.

I mean, even judicial, governmental, police and any other entities are strictly prohibited from collecting metadata from all sorts of communications. This prohibition extends to the contents of any communications. This means that not only absolutely no one can access or collect the content of communications, but also that no one can even access or collect the metadata of those same communications.
