    there is no such thing as MAM for direct messages in MUC, it's your user server's responsibility to do that; and it'll only do that for non-MUC-PMs

    So it depends on which JID you are talking to.

    direct messages in biboumi shouldn't go through the MUC though

    I mean it supports that if you manually type in the JID that way, just don't do that, message directly user%ircserver@biboumi

    Ge0rG, not in dino or conversations it doesn't, they open up real conversations with the proper JID
