librsvg or resvg seem like two good options for static SVG rendering, I’m not aware of any supporting animations though.

yeah the UI for mobile device is very different to design. Very difficult to use the same app for both mobile and desk I think.

I got my first Linux phone in 2008, it had a 2.8" touchscreen and XMPP clients back then were… not very touch-friendly.

My first Linux phone was n900 which had built in designed for purpose xmpp client. Was a glorious decade
