Well, I waited for more than 24 hours, but the compliance level is still not shown on https://xmpp.org/software/clients/monal-im/ (it still shows "No compliance level.")

  2. thilo.molitor

what's wrong with my doap? the compliance tester reads and parses it just fine...

  3. wurstsalat

    thilo.molitor: I'll have a look later today

  4. Guus

wurstsalat: if you could glance at Openfire's at the same time...

  5. wurstsalat

Guus: but it renders fine now, doesn't it?

  6. guus.der.kinderen

wurstsalat: it does, apologies. The xep listing was broken before, but now is ok.

  7. wurstsalat

guus.der.kinderen: the listing isn't ordered alphabetically, but maybe I can do something about that on xmpp.org's side

  8. thilo.molitor

    wurstsalat: thanks!

    XEP-0045 being XEP-0045 again...

  10. MattJ

Someone complained that Prosody isn't including muc#roominfo_changesubject in its disco result

  11. MattJ

It does, however, include muc#roomconfig_changesubject in the *extended* disco result (which is a form)

  12. MattJ

    Note roominfo vs roomconfig

  13. MattJ

So I checked the XEP, and the first thing I find is this example: https://xmpp.org/extensions/xep-0045.html#example-10

  14. MattJ

Which includes *both* roominfo_changesubject *and* roomconfig_changesubject

  15. Zash

    > XEP-0045 being XEP-0045 again... Nothing else to say here.

  16. MattJ

Assuming that to be some kind of mistake, I went a level deeper

  17. MattJ

The valid fields for muc#roominfo are defined in the registry submission near the end of the XEP

  18. MattJ

    There I find.... 'muc#roominfo_subjectmod

  19. MattJ

    There I find.... 'muc#roominfo_subjectmod'

  20. MattJ

I think the only valid option is to use muc#roomconfig_* fields from extended disco, because they are at least defined to map to the actual configuration fields if present

  21. wurstsalat

thilo.molitor, in clients.json, monal is named "Monal IM", but the doap file says "Monal", hence it does not match in this tool's logic. which one is your preferred name for monal?

  22. emus

ralphm: can you add https://monal-im.org/index.xml to the Planet jabber and remove the old monal.im ? CC: thilo.molitor

  23. wurstsalat

and congrats on the NLnet funding :)

  24. Maranda

wurstsalat: DOAP crawling is done every 24h?

  25. wurstsalat

Maranda: yes > Okay, it will now pull from DOAPs daily (or whenever website changes are made)
