I'm half-way taking over from JC, indeed.

My initial thought on adding 'free'-typed labels is that it defeats the purpose of that system: facilitating people wanting to earn their living with XMPP-related jobs.

I *suspect* the intention was to help people who'll only work for someone producing OSS.

But could easily be wrong.

Ah, right. That is deceptively hard to identify correctly, I fear, as I have not yet spotted that in any of the listing texts.

I have a minor procedural question. Where are new members voted on vs board and council elections? If someone is applying to be a member in Q4 do they get to vote in the board and council elections or have to wait until the next one due to timing of themselves being confirmed as a member?

The question only applies for council as board people don't need to be members

pep.: for being voted into the position yes, but I meant in terms of voting for the candidates, which I believe members vote in both the council and the board?

the question of if a Q4 member applicant can be a council candidate is also interesting, but not what I meant to ask

yes I can personally attest that XMPP does in fact run well on other people's computers, and as such is cloud native
