FYI, I just added a small "welcome" banner for the XSF org on Github. you can see it in action here: https://github.com/xsf

  3. Seve

    Appreciated!

  4. emus

This is how bootstrap does it for more ibspiration: https://github.com/twbs great wurstsalat!

  5. emus

And other xmpp projects could do that for their repos too 🙂

  6. pep.

    wurstsalat: 👍

  7. MattJ

    Thanks wurstsalat!

Random thought: I wonder about a white stroke around the edge of the text in the logo, as it's not easily readable in the Github dark theme

  9. wurstsalat

    for me, it looks alright:

I get this in Firefox mobile

  14. Kev

    XMPP for the dark web.

  15. wurstsalat

I'll have a look later. seems like one can set dark/light styles inside SVGs

  16. nicoco

thanks wurstsalat! also getting the XMPP text in black on dark background (firefox stable on debian stable)

  17. wurstsalat

In Chromium it works magically, but I'll try to figure something out for the logo in general

does 0280 not have explicit wording on whether or not carbons should be delivered before a clients sends initial presence?

  19. Kev

    Does it need it?

  20. Daniel

because one would assume the answer is yes?

  21. Kev

If the client's enabled carbons, the client's enabled carbons, I'd have thought.

  22. Kev

And if the XEP doesn't say "And this can only be enabled for an available client" (and I don't remember it doing so), it should be possible whether available or not.

  23. Zash

Hey now, don't ruin my invisibility! Again.

  24. emus

Info: I am setting up the application for the GSoC - it would be great to have an OrgAdmin backup still
