out of curiosity why didnt the Encrypted Sessions thing happened? It seems there were a lot of XEPs around that time but then they just got deferred. no interest at the time probably?

  2. MSavoritias fae.ve

im talking about XEP-0218: Bootstrapping Implementation of Encrypted Sessions

  3. MSavoritias fae.ve

    https://xmpp.org/extensions/xep-0218.html

  4. Zash

Who knows? IIRC only Gajim ever implemented ESessions

  5. MSavoritias fae.ve

heh of course gajim implemented it

  6. MSavoritias fae.ve

Hey o/ I see that MIX https://xmpp.org/extensions/xep-0369.html#reqs says: > 11. Enable federation of a channel across multiple servers, to provide a service equivalent to "federated MUC" Federated MUC for Constrained Environments (XEP-0289) [4]. But its not mentioned again. Is that a TBD or is it supposed to be done with https://xmpp.org/extensions/xep-0253.html > XEP-0253: PubSub Chaining

  7. MSavoritias fae.ve

    ?

  8. Zash

    Huh, never seen 253 before.

  9. MSavoritias fae.ve

    heh

  10. MSavoritias fae.ve

that and 254 seem interesting imo

  11. cal0pteryx

Gajim removed support for it though :)

So, what are some things that need some help with at XSF? Looking at the teams and wondering where the best place would be to help out in.

root, you don't really need to read XEPs, mostly to know the process :P

root, https://github.com/xsf/xeps/tree/master/docs is probably the best place to start

if you feel like battling github actions the `tag: whatever` emitted by https://github.com/xsf/xeps/blob/master/tools/triage.sh need applied as actual tags on issues, I planned to do it, but haven't started yet :D
