  1. edhelas

Wouldn't it be interesting to also add the transport/bridges available on XMPP Providers ?

  2. edhelas

A newcomer might be interested to pick his server based on the fact that he could connect his WhatsApp/Matrix/Telegram... account

  3. MSavoritias fae.ve

providers are not for newcomers tho. last i asked at least

  4. MSavoritias fae.ve

    > edhelas: yes, there is an issue for that :) https://invent.kde.org/melvo/xmpp-providers/-/issues/85 The link inside there is dead What about the transports provided for the whole network that don't depend on provider? Do you list them on every provider or? (jabberfr and cheogram biboumis come to mind)

  13. moparisthebest

I've gotten more than a few stodgy IRC users on XMPP this way simply because XMPP makes a better IRC client 😈

  14. cal0pteryx

moparisthebest: the relevant information is extracted from that linked document
