Re msg retraction, i've got an opinion and wonder what you think about it: 1. There should only be one generalized concept for editing a message and discarding/not discarding edit history (which amounts to retraction if edited to {empty} and discarded) 2. the desire to respect/ignore discarding history should be a per-contact-per-muc opt-in on the client side

Maybe I overlooked, but is there a specific feature in 0045 disco#info that tells me that PM are forbidden ? https://xmpp.org/extensions/xep-0045.html#privatemessage
