Does other clients sending `<query xmlns='http://jabber.org/protocol/disco#info'/>` on my every reconnect indicate that my client implements `<c xmlns='http://jabber.org/protocol/caps' ...>` incorrectly? Or is this normal behaviour?

kurisu, you might want to look at the debug of such other clients, it’s very well possible that you messed up something. Do they also request the disco#info with a 'node' attribute before, and you reply something wrong?

Yes, I send presence with <c>, then they request disco with 'node', I reply. But then after I reconnect and send a presence with the same <c>, they request disco again. That seems strange because I have tested my verification string generation to match the XEP examples exactly.

Do they log anything about mismatched hash?

I didn't run them myself yet, just observing other people's clients. But ok I guess it must be my mistake somewhere. I was just wondering if maybe such repeated requests are normal.

Also I'm not sure what you mean by the second bit, it's not an opinion or a slight at anyone or anything. I'm legitimately asking what opportunities are closed to the XSF now that will open up if it moves to EU. The XSF is not a contractor that takes on contracts, right? So if there are such things only available in EU that has no bearing on the XSF's decision. ↺
