  1. vert

hello, what was your favourite xmpp client, at the old blackberry curve time?

  2. Guus

    NImbuzz :)

  3. Guus

    (which was very closed source)

  4. Daniel

If you are referring to the time not the specific device I was a happy bombus mod (java2me) user ob my symbian s60 phones

  5. vert

Daniel, it was more specific to blackberry curve/os5 range, but it's still nice to know

  6. lm2lm2

hi, is there any other service than aria-net.org, for gw from xmpp to matrix?

  7. Zash

matrix.org is the other one I know of

  8. Menel

The logo of conversations is broken : https://xmpp.org/software/?platform=android

  9. cal0pteryx

The logo is taken from their DOAP file, which might be inaccessible?

  10. lm2lm2

Menel, i saw that yesterday, i was thinking it has never been here

  11. Menel

My memory is to bad to judge that. I would've guessed it was there. But idk

  12. lissine

Menel: the links in conversations' doap file still link to github. (IIRC the repo was read only but was deleted a couple of months ago)

  13. Menel

The join button for the jdev room is typoed here https://xmpp.org/community/chat/ It says jev instead

  17. moparisthebest

Maybe it's a secret puzzle so only astute devs can get in

  18. lm2lm2

just in case, two "ideas" that might be interesting for xmpp users/community : a XEP to export data and import into another xmpp client (very interesting :D), and a kind of "timezone indicator", useful to remind about night time for abroad contacts, especially for sleeping time 😉

  19. singpolyma

Yes, we have part of such a xep already but it misses some things people want exported (such as omemo private keys)
